I was driving through Atlanta and got off the expressway to take this picture. Not so long ago there we people living in this building and kids played on this playground.

In 5 years or less a whole new social structure, demographic, and economic base will exist in this neighborhood and its horizon will be remarkably different.

I tried to quit coffee before and I failed. The same with sugar.

I lack the discipline.

People who are good at things have discipline and the rest of us want to see them fail because we can’t do it!

No joke, I go from trying to work out and being healthy which usually lasts about a week

The next few weeks will be all about me staying up late, watching TV, and of course hanging out with my old friend Coffee. Sometimes, I change it up a bit. I eat cookies and drink coke…

I drink a lot of Beverages the least of which is probably water.

Even though I realize that back pain, achy joints, headaches, and bad breath are all often exasperated and amplified by a lack of the clear stuff, I fail to drink any where near enough water.

I know I need to work out, each consistently, and drink water. I mean drinking water within days helps my complexion clear up and generally makes me feel better.

But it is like many other things that I don’t do that are best for me.

My greatest obstacle to achievement and health is myself.

I mean why don’t I write more and why don’t I read more???

Because I am lazy!! TV is so much easier! You don’t even have to think.

Back to water…

Water is the best for you. It’s cheap and easy to acquire, but it’s also colorless and flavorless! Why is it so hard to drink??

I mean we are like 98% water right. If you take the water away you could put us in a zip lock couldn’t you?

Is there a way to test that theory and not go to jail???

Sorry (I’m drifting again)…

To me water sucks and some water does not suck. That’s why I purchased a filter and found some water I liked that is pretty cheap.

Guess what, I still don’t drink it!!

There is a bottle of water peeking out on the left side of my computer and in my hand is coffee.

Coffee Laughs and smiles while I sip away and water remains alone and untouched.

Meanwhile you could run hot water through my kidney for a week and get Coffee…

Is my aversion to drinking water akin to what prevents so many of us from doing the right thing??

Tiger Woods could have avoided being chase by his wife with a golf club, but he didn’t!!

The obvious joke here would be the reason he cheated on his wife is that she is like water colorless and flavorless. FYI – this a statement not referring to her race has much as her being lame (a statement which I have no evidence of). I mean it be even more the obvious and racist joke except he went out and got the same model make and color when he cheated on her.

Across from me on the Marta train headed east, was a woman rambling on her cell phone. She was probably around 200 or 205 with super tight jeans and a leather coat. Not only was she loud but the person on the other end of the phone was loud…

I looked down at her large thick legs which came to a little gold point.

She was like an ice cream scoop somehow sitting on two denim Ice cream cones. The Ice cream cones came to a point and the tip of that point was a pair of gold and wood grain shoes!!

I had to take a picture and when I did, I noticed the sticker was still on the shoes.

WOW!!

She thought they were so fly she ripped off the sticker and wore them home or wherever she was going from the store.

As I looked at them I was thinking that she might be headed to take a picture of herself surrounded by wood and gold furniture blanketed in gold sheets. Perhaps she was headed to make some sort of sexy Rent – a -Center add…

I was headed to lunch today down in the lower level of the studios.

I was, like so many other people… walking unaware of my surroundings on autopilot.

I heard a heavy buzzing noise and found myself head on with a light weight plastic remote controlled airplane!

For a moment I thought I was being attacked by an irradiated horse fly…
